It makes almost around half of all cryptocurrencies in the market currently, leaving other virtual currencies behind as a top cryptocurrency of 2021. Anyone can run a blockchain node on their computer and store their copy of the blockchain. A Bitcoin transaction cost around $12 and new coins are minted by miners every 10 minutes. Only about 21 million Bitcoins in total will be created.
